Carol Daniele

     Calligraphy has been a passion of Ms. Daniele’s since the age of 17 in a high school art class.  After dabbling in different writing styles for over 20 years, she attended calligraphy instruction in 2002 at the NY School of Visual Arts in conjunction with the Society of Scribes.  Currently, Ms. Daniele is a member of the International Society of Scribes and has taken many courses from their very talented instructors.  Recently she participated in a weekend seminar/workshop given by the official calligrapher of the White House.  Her specialty is Copperplate calligraphy; however, many different calligraphy styles and custom styles are offered which will compliment any invitation typestyle.  Ms. Daniele has taken an abundance of courses on color mixing and is able to match any color ink used on your invitations.  Before beginning her own calligraphy business, she worked in Manhattan for 17 years with Cosmair/L'Oreal, Imagemakers Advertising and Philip Morris; while in those positions, one of her primary responsibilities included coordinating and assisting with Corporate Event Planning.  Her jobs were very detailed oriented and left no room for error.

     Ms. Daniele prides herself on carrying this through into her calligraphy business.  Since 1998, she has successfully operated her own calligraphy and design business in the New York/New Jersey metro area and specializes in Weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Corporate Events, Parties, Religious Sacramental Certificates, Diplomas, Poems and custom designs.  She has worked with fine stationery companies nationwide, including the prestigious Michael C. Fina Company, The Wedding Library, Dauphine Press, PaperWorks and Events in addition to Manhattan event planners, caterers and individual hosts from all over the country on projects ranging from intimate dinner parties to large weddings and corporate functions.

     Proper etiquette advice is always offered, following the reference books of Emily Post, Amy Vanderbilt and Crane’s Tiffany edition.   Ms. Daniele also offers hand-painted flowers on place cards or envelopes.
